What’s one awesome thing about being a nomad ?  Friends and family!  What’s one hard thing about being a nomad? Friends & family!

As with all things, you can’t have it all.  And that brings us to the reality of what nomadic life entails.  Not having the dearest of friends and the family you love traveling right along beside you.  Although we know you guys are with us in spirit (and hopefully living the experiences through our efforts to share them with you) we know we’re not going to be hanging out with you as much.  This is one of the tough sides of being a scruffynomad! But at the same time, there are old friends and family who live all over the U.S. that we’re excited about connecting, and re-connecting, with.

But to all of our best buds in Jackson, MS, Knoxville, TN, Nashville, Birmingham, Gatlinburg and our other usual Southeastern hangouts,  we hope you’ll be putting your best facetime forward and keeping us in the loop of all the local shenanigans.  We love you dearly.  We appreciate your enduring friendships and we can’t wait to be your campground hosts in all sorts of places in the coming months and years ! We’ll have the awning out for ya!  And with a pretty small footprint, we hope to be pulling up in your driveway for lots of future visits as well !

Simply Put.  We love y’all so much.  We treasure your friendships.  Keep your light shining. Come see us !
