We suck !

Here it is July 2nd and our last post was written by Lisa on June 17th!  Who knew that when you’re on the move, continuing to work as a nomad,  having a blast exploring, visiting friends, etc. that blogging regularly would prove to be a little more challenging time-wise than expected !

It’s not that we haven’t thought of all of you who so kindly subscribed at the beginning of our new nomadic lifestyle  —  and not that we haven’t THOUGHT most days about putting our amazing experiences on the road in writing on TwoScruffyNomads.com …  it’s simply that our travel adventures have been non-stop and kept us pretty pooped out when not in action !  Hey, after all … we’re not 20 somethings any more !

Anyway, so we’re writing to you from a beautiful, quiet Lowe’s parking lot in Ft. Collins, CO on this Sunday night with roasted veggies and wild caught Salmon in the oven !  We’ve decided that it’s time to catch y’all up on our shenanigans since around the middle of June and all those windy days traveling across Kansas.  Actually, I think that’s where we left off … from the wonderful Symphony in the Flint Hills trip!

There is so much to share from our recent adventures and travels in New Mexico and Colorado!  So we’re getting our pics organized and will be sharing our stories, and catching up to date, throughout this coming week.  For now, here are a few highlights as we cull through all the photos and get our thoughts together!

p.s.  so much fun seeing friends along the way …  in photos above :  With Chan de Anaya in Cuba, NM (we all drove 2 hours so we could spend a couple of hours together!) and Heather Dodge in Boulder, CO !  Both fixed us up with places to call home for a night or more !
