Wow !  We can’t believe it.  Knoxville is beautiful and brilliant green with early Summer and we’re counting down the days until we depart … our final week is here – here in the front yard of our dear friends, Kim & Sarah.

As the initial post to jumpstart our shared storytelling via our new website, we simply want to invite y’all to come tag along, be a part, and interact with us !  Tell your friends to do the same !   We took these photos a couple of weekends ago while at the annual Biscuit Festival in downtown Knoxville.  The one of our feet seemed appropriate to use as a “Welcome to our Journey” post … (or for a Keen ad!)

Do come “walk with us” … or hike, bike, laugh, raft, kayak, explore, ponder, question, grow, meet inspiring people, hear great music, and experience life in a multitude of ways as the days unfold around us as we “dare greatly” in the words of Brene’ Brown.  Life is short.  Stay weird. Be yourself. Love yourself. Be kind to everyone around you. Look for God in all the moments of your day.  New chapters in life begin all the time.  Embrace changes and be thankful for lessons learned.  But try not to repeat the things that aren’t life-giving !

Lisa left the Chinook this morning with only 2 days left of work at her OT job here with the State of TN!  This is a much larger life change for her than for me at this point, but she’s doing great !  There have been SO many things to get in order … the “details” of life’s responsibilities sure come to light more vividly when one is preparing to live a tiny mobile lifestyle. I have exciting website projects going and those will always be a part of my life on the road.  The show must go on, right ?  After all, we are NOT retired!  We simply want to live life on the move while still working in order to explore and adventure in the MIDST of living life NOW !

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers as we journey outward !  Please subscribe to our “storytelling from the road” so you can get our photos, videos, and short notes right into your emails.  It means a lot to know that what we’re experiencing can be shared by many.  It makes it all the sweeter.  We’ve got to practice with our brand new GoPro, but should be fun to add some “vlogs” to make our visuals even more interesting !  We’re even planning to add a drone to the mix pretty soon !  Are we sounding like “tech geeks” or what ???  Never too old to learn and have fun being creative! So here’s to spreading our wings and flying with the drones !
